Coaches

The Redskins Coaches have one primary goal. Make the players time with the Redskins a positive life long memory.

Basic rules - NO Screaming, No Demoralizing, No Physical contact will be tolerated. A coaches code of conduct is signed by every coach. Violations are dealt with promptly and without appeal.

Coaches will take a knee when teaching players in order to get to their level.

Our coaches will conduct themselves in a respectful, educational and motivating way. We strive to not only teach our players the game of football, but how commitment, resolve, desire and drive can help them in all aspects of life.

Players Conduct

Playing Time - Every player is guaranteed 8 plays. Of course we want each player to make a contribution throughout the game. In order to ensure players get the time on the field they want - we encourage them to learn every position on the field. Show desire and drive everyday at practice.

Practice Attendance: If a player cannot attend practice for any reason, they must call their coach at least 1 hour before practice. Or it will be considered an unexcused absence. If a player misses practice for reasons other then illness, homework/studies, or family emergencies it will be considered an unexcused absence. Going to a neighbors pool party for example, would be considered unexcused. The league Rules state: If a player has 1 unexcused practice the Team may hold that player out of the game for 1 quarter of the game. 2 missed practices could lose the player 1/2 of the game - and 3 the Team doesn't have to play them at all. This has never been a problem on our team - but I want everyone to know what could happen if this problem presents itself.

Playing Time: KWAA guarantee's 8 plays. After that, it is up to the player to prove themselves at practice to show they earned more time. The Parents can help with this in a major way, by motivating the players while at home, on the way home from practice etc...

Parents/Fans Conduct:

Parents ARE NOT allowed on the sidelines during games. Only Head Coach, Offense and Defensive coaches - as well as special Teams and First Aid rep.

If a parent has a dispute with a Redskin coach or player, they are to take it up with the Head Coach of the players division. If it cannot get resolved, it is taken to the G.M. for final resolution.

Do not confront other teams coaches or the referee's. Bring any issue with the opposing team to the G.M. and it will be dealt with by the G.M. and the league President. If a parent causes damage to the reputation of our team by arguing or fighting with opponents or referee's, it can & will effect the playing time of the offending parties son. If the problem persists, the player will be released from the team, and NO refund will be given.
